For some time I moved into a new apartment. ..
This new location has made people feel the need to better harmonize the clutter of components for radio listeners.
In particular, I had to rethink the layout of the radio antenna and the permanent connection of all components for the management of both.
The new space identified for the 'R75 makes it difficult to use intensive, because it is located inside a closet. The use of the PC for Utilities and related areas has become complicated by not support is sufficiently large.
Hence the idea ... if only to make the intuition be released to radio by myself, or rather, to make wider use of distance and reduce the number of cables for interconnection.
The ability to manage the R75 via the serial port has opened up different ways on how to have the new layout. If at first I thought to combine the PC and connect to the radio from time to time, the second idea was to use a type of serial access.
At this point I had to figure out how to do it all without spending a drain and especially without making it overly complicated. After a bit of "mental masturbations" I decided to use a serial BT using a BT module in my possession and making me a friend help to reprogram it, making it compatible with the maximum communication speed of the radio. Fixed serial communication, it remains to make the decision whether to wire the audio out or figure out a way to make it wireless also.
Also this time I was lucky enough ...
Some time ago I bought at a discount "LIDL" a pair of wireless headphones a little more than 10E. OK! "... To listen to the radio remote is perfect, but to pass the data in the computer ?..."" ... simple !..." After reproducing an excerpt of the dialogue with my brain:-D I decided to
"gutting" the headphones and attach a cable to connect to the PC.
The basic ingredients are all there now only remains for me to mix everything and season ... and this will take another few days.
But let's get to the heart of the whole project management software to the Radio "
When I had the idea of \u200b\u200bmanaging the radio remotely, I started searching on the net for possible special software. Among the many software "to pay" I found a "free" software developed by an Italian.
The software is called and the developer is Icom2006 Mauro Minnella.
Below I report some screenshots of the program:
Mauro has been kind enough to grant me the privilege to use its software and contribute something to the SBAC of the same.
Anyone wishing to use it can take directly to him through his website http://maurominnella.com/radio.html
We come now to the description of the other two parts of the wireless setup.
The box magic that you see below is just the interface RS232/BT.
Inside there is a linear power supply and a series regulator to provide the right voltage to the BT module, which is also inside. To reduce the possible sources of electromagnetic interference have banned any sort of switching power supply ... this has resulted in an increase in the size of the box. The BT module is slightly larger than a SIM phone! XD
Again it is only right to thank a friend (P. Miller) that made possible the use of the BT module with my Radio.
The module is configured to have a speed of 19200 bps, the maximum allowed dall'R75.
the remainder of the TTL data coming out of the BT module, are made compatible with the radio serial by the now old integratino adapter layer that acts as a type MAX232.
also to increase the signal range BT I replaced the tiny ceramic antenna with a more efficient antenna collinear (DIY).
At the audio section ... there is not much to say ...
The transmitter module has remained exactly as it was the headphones, while the headphone cable was added to bring the signal to the PC. Under
report the overview of my new setup is not very big ... nice ... but how do you say "... or eat soup or jump out the window ..."

This is Wellbrook upright on the balcony ... not the best but the reasoning is over!
